Rear Lift gate ?
This is on a 2008 limited.
Whats it made of?
I went to put some car magnets on there and they don't stick.
They stick fine on the side.
Is it plastic?
Like the chrome wheels.

Pretty sure its aluminum. I did the same thing tried to put a magnet on the back and it just kept falling off. I was kinda shocked that it wasnt metal.

both the front hood and rear lift gate are aluminum

hmm
make sense then.
Just was not expecting that.
But if it helps getting the 20mpg I am getting going to work I am happy.
