Power Steering Pump reservoir cap???

Our truck ('79 F-150 4x4 351M/Auto) doesn't have a cap on the power steering pump reservoir (we have the plastic reservoir not the metal one) and we can't find/figure out where to get a cap for the reservoir. . .I've seen the dipsticks for the power steering pumps but I don't see where it goes on our steering pump. In all of the online pictures of the power steering pump that I have seen (Autozone, Schucks, etc.) there isn't a cap on it either. What kind of cap is the reservoir supposed to have and where can we get one. . .we've already been junkyard scavenging for one. The only one that I've seen come with a cap is the Extra Duty version but it's way more expensive (twice as much) and we just don't feel like buying a whole new Extra Duty power steering pump when all we need is a cap for the reservoir.

Same question for a dipstick for the engine oil. . .ours came without one and I can't find one for the 351M anywhere. . .I got one from the junkyard but it didn't fit (I didn't check to see if the truck I got it from was 4WD or not so I'm guess that the odds worked against me and it was 2WD so it won't fit our 4WD oil pan!!!

Thanks FTE!!!

1978/79 F100/350 & Bronco P/S Dipstick

YF1Z3A006AA .. P/S Dipstick ~ Use with the FORD type P/S pump / Replaced: E6DZ-3A006-A, E1AZ-3A006-A/B, & the original 1978/79 p/n of D8AZ-3A006-A.

MSRP: $5.90 / ftepartsguy.com price: $4.25

Note: 1977 and earlier cars/trucks used a different pump, the parts will not interchange.

This dipstick is not the same one 1975 and later Econolines with Saginaw P/S pumps used.

Your didstick/cap looks like this look at this one

As common as can be used in all plastic tank saginaw pumps. You can find them from 79-97.
