Thumbs up My first 4x4 project

Hey Guys, I had this truck almost given to me and it will be my first 4x4 build. I usually am into the tuner scene but I think this could be fun, nothing crazy, just a strong go through almost anything truck. Anyways, its a 1991 F-250 XLT Lariat extended cab, long bed with a 460, 5 speed and of course 4x4.

I would like to put on a 6" suspension lift and maybe some 37" tires. What do you guys think?

By the way, if anyone has a brush guard for this model and are looking to get rid of it, let me know....cant find one anywhere!

It didnt look quite as good as it does now, the passengers fender was all smashed in thanks to a light pole at 30mph, the brakes were shot, it had tiny bald tires on it and no exhaust tips (but did have true duals with flowmasters and no cats. So car I have added the rims and tires, toolbox, bed caps, new tips and of course the big ford sticker....lol

still needs new manual hubs, new seats, ac and a.i.r. pump removed, and a good tune up....then on to the fun stuff!

Nice truck, looks 100 times better!!! Keep it up!!

Where are you from?

I have an 88 Ford Bronco with an excellent front bumper and stainless steel push bar that should match up to yours if your interested.
