Drummond next weekend 6/21

Going up to Drummond Island next Sat to do some wheeling with a couple other trucks....If anyone wants to come out you are more than welcome. We will hit Turtle Ridge Off road Park for part of the day and then some State trails. One of the trails we will hit runs out to a couple beaches and a lookout over the lake.I would have to dig up the pic of my truck on a 200ft. ledge looking out over the lake....it is an awesome place
.....what else would you expect, its the U.P.

Just to let you know....there are some pretty tough trails up there.....I would suggest at least 33 inch tires and tow points f/r(l/s or locker in the rear is a bonus).I have guided stock jeeps around there easily. The hard sections have a bypass 9 out of 10 times.Just let me know and I well get you meeting time and place.I am just driving up for the day.

Couple pics from the park for referrance...the last pic is one of the other truck's that is going.

I bet my f150 would do it with the short wheel base.
If anyone has a locking carrier i can put in, i'm sure it will be simple run, cept my clutch will probably hate me in the end.

Your truck will do fine....One of the other trucks going is a 89 suburban that is open f/r on 33's......If you have the granny first.....throw it in low and you will barely touch the clutch. My first time there was when I still had IFS and 33's open f/r and went everywhere. As long as you have a good spotter its a piece of cake.

I am headed out of Gladwin 5:30 am if anyone wants to caravan up....I will also have an open seat on the trail if someone wants to ride along.

Here is a pic of Marble head....the lookout I was talking about(truck still had IFS and 33's)

Those stock Jeep's that I took through there were bone stock......even the street tread tires.Had to yank on them a few times in a couple muddy sections.I am locked f/r on 35's...same with the white cruiser and both with winches...so if anyone gets in trouble we can get them out.If you have never been wheeling on rocks......warning....you will be addicted instantly(I have been collecting field stone for 2 yrs....going on some trails I have cut on the property just to make it more interesting.)
