Any luck finding the alternator bracket? I'm lookin for one myself. Also what are you putting pto on? I just priced a new pto unit from Point Spring & Driveshaft in Fairmont for $250, including a cable shifter, for a 10,000lb pto winch i'm putting on my mud bogger. Thats about the same money people are asking for used when you can find'em, Dave.

The pto unit I priced is a one direction, one speed model, but you can get in/out with your transmission. The one I priced was for a NP205 t-case, this way with the pto on my t-case and a NP435 tranny, I can have 4 different spool in speeds but only one spool out spd, but usually we just spool out cable in neutral by hand. I'm using a 10,000lb Garwood winch from the front of a 2 1/2ton 6x6, got one of those for $295 spooled with good cable. You can get the yokes and pto shafts from your local Napa store.
As for the brackets for the 460, I understand the frustration, thats why I still have the 409 in my big truck, we'd probably be better off buying them from Bronco Graveyard, premium price but I think they are a site sponsor though. Hope this helps, Dave.

Yeah, they still have them, here is a partial link to their site, adelmans.com/atruckparts.html, click on the yellow "CLICK HERE" and youll get their pdf flyer. Near the bottom of the flyer is a little box that with new/used winches in it. 10,000lb pto winch with cable $295. Around here if you can find'em, folks in the bulletin boards wanted close to $1000 for them.
Some friends and I got together and went up and bought some for our trucks, well worth the drive.

LOL, gettin some other type of axle? My apologies, the winches used to be on the bottom of the flyer next to where it says EXPORT PARTS. They have changed the flyer recently, it didnt have pics of the trucks on the right the last time I looked. Sorry, Dave.
