Having an inclination towards the older and obscure items, is there any interest in the 28-31 "A" four cylinder motors. Have seen many of them running in nostalgia drag cars but information is not abundant.

What I'm interested in is flat four drag motors. Just looking at them so far I belive they are close to the ford tractor motors so maybe the rods interchange and the cranks thus escaping the babbit bearings? I like the sound of them and they are obscure enough to get me interested, if for nothing else I have an extra "A" frame and some body parts layoing around that could evolve into something.

The Model "A" Ford engine is entirely different than the engine used in the Ford tractors. The "A" engine is 200.5 cubic inches ant 40 horsepower. The tractor engine is considerably less than that. The tractor engine has a smaller bore and a shorter stroke.
