We've got a 1999 F350 Diesel, the batteries keep going dead after about 4 days. We have checked for a draw-no draw.We have replaced the batteries 4 times-the last time with Ford batteries, we have replaced the glow plug relay. Any ideas?
Are they going dead because of some sort of draw or do you mean dead as in dead. About all I can come up with right now is is the alt good, or some sort of draw like an interior light or something. My suggestion would be to do a search and see if you can come up with anything with that. Sorry I can't be of more help.
Sounds like there is a problem somewhere. From what i have always read, check the grounds first. Poor ground has been known to cause problems like this.
After you figure out if you have a bad ground or not, then it can get tricky.
what it sounds like your alternators not charging the batts and your batteries only have enough charge in them to stop and start the truck for 4 days. if thats not the case then theres gotta be a draw, any aftermarket components?
