Floor Liners

Just in case some might be interested in floor liners:

I get a lot of er, huh, STUFF on my shoes from our machine shop. Plus, I have 40 acres that I maintain and hunt on. I decided to research floor mats but, never found what I really wanted. Then I found the Extreme Duty molded floor liners from WeatherTech. These suckers fit perfect. I bought the front and second row liners and couldn't be more pleased.

Though pretty pricey, One of our sponsors (Real Truck) had the best price. I used their 10% off coupon instead of our 5% FTE Discount. Great service BTW. I ordered them on Monday and received them on the following Monday @ my office.

I think I want these. Best fitting liner out there IMO. Can you post some pix of them installed on your truck? Thanks.

Might take a couple of days but, the picture in the link is a real good representation. If you go to the WeatherTech site and go thru the selection process I believe it will depict the vehicle selected.

This floor liner even passed the"wife" test.

You will note that the driver's side even accommodates the mat "safety hook."

I have the grey interior and it looks pretty good.

I've no way for comparisons.

Here's the Husky mats I've been using in my Explorer and Expedition since 2002. Large lip in the cargo compartment helps a lot when we're camping. No shot of the fronts.

The WeatherTech liner is a bit more rigid (still pliable though) and form fitting. It will not move around or bubble / bow up.

Don't get me wrong. The Husky's are good, just a bit more like a heavy duty floor mat.

I had a Husky cargo liner in my 'Burb and loved it. It saved the cargo area since I was hauling a lot of building materials due to a project I got shanghaied into.

I wish Husky or WeatherTech had an applicable cargo liner for the EL that dosen't cover up the utility shelf. I still working on a liner of my own. Will hopefully start on one next week. I will provide pics if I come up with something viable.

I have replaced my factory black rubber floor mats with custom fit clear mats with honeycomb pattern, they fit much better, they cover more of the carpet aera for better protection of the factory floor carpet. The clear ones allow the color of the carpet to come though, and the inside is much brighter. pictures at...
