Well tommarra is my one year anniversary enlisted in the Air Force. Been one heck of a time with six weeks of basic



Two months at Keesler AFB in missississippi for electronics training. Didn't really care for Keesler's weather or the base, but did some habitat for humanity 2 years to the day of Katrina with 90% of the lower missississippi area not rebuilt.





4 months at Sheppard AFB in northern tx for avionics training.

Sheppard was cool being an airman leader and working with trainer C-130s.





Then in January comes the real deal with my first duty station of Dover AFB in DE. I'm a guidance and controls tech for the ultra cool C-17 globemaster 3 shown here

Anyway I work the flightline and see firsthand the massive job US Airlift does with very cool toys.







I've met some cool people,



And got a brand new cool uniform





Anyways, it's been fun and the next few day's I'll share some funny stories.

Looks like a lot of fun Adrian. While your in Delaware you could meet up with some of the Delaware chapter guys down there. There is a member from that chapter who is also at the Dover base. DAFBD58 (Ryan), he is with the Delaware Air National Guard Fire Fighters, I believe his rank is SSgt. He drives a 2002 F250 regular cab 4x4 Red..
