well my 82 f-150 has developed another wonderment of mass proportions. It will not idle, misses at all rpm. it has a new carb and has new plugs in it. fresh plug wires and dizzy cap and rotor. coil is new too. after changing the plugs it seemed to quit missing as bad, but still will not idle. i'm thinking something with the distributor or either with the duraspark box. anyone got any clues??

Maybe when you replaced the plug wires they got out of firing order. Thats the first thing i would check.
