Superlift OHV in a Super Duty?

<hr style="color: rgb(209, 209, 225);" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message --> My family is planning a reunion of sorts in Murfreesboro, AR to visit Crater of Diamonds SP. I noticed that Hot Springs, AR is tantalizingly close by, and I would definitely like to check it out!

One problem though...

We're making this trip in my mostly stock '02 F-250 (ex cab, short bed, ls, 285's); no one else in my family will be taking any 4x4 smaller than mine (2wd suburbans, and another super duty but crew cab long bed.)

I've looked at the trail map and ratings on the Superlift website, but they only give general ratings, not detailed descriptions of each trail. From what I've read, I'd be willing to take a shot at most of the 1 and 2 rated trails.

What do y'all locals think? Will I be the dummy stuck on a 1 rated trail, or will my pig rig make it through ok? Any suggestions on what 1 & 2 trails to avoid / I gotta try?

Thanks guys!

I've only been once...and it was way back the same year it opened. IIRC the 1's are set up so that most any vehicle can traverse them.

Yeah, when I say most any vehicle....I'm not talking about battleships, aircraft carriers, or DRW F-350's.

Those all have about the same turning radius.

Dont do it unless you like dragging your bedsides against trees and your steps and rockers on boulders and roots. Its not long wheelbase friendly out there. Ive been wheeling out there since before I was legally old enough to drive. Take an ATV if you want to have fun out there...dont bash your rig!
