Ford Edge Cold Ram Air

3.5L 265 hp Edge. The airbox has two inlets. One that feeds up to the grill. The grill needs to be opened up between the crome slates to directly force air in. Thats not the good part! The other inlet is a 1" tube that sucks heated under hood air. When you remove this tube, Ford was so kind as to leave a perfect oval port that a standard homer dryer vent duck slips right on. A zip tie is all you need to hold it. You can then run the duck down behind the grill and either open up the bottom valence to force air in if you have the fog lights or the factory air dam has a removable cutout for the light that when removed lets air rush right into your dryer duct. Almost free forced cold air induction! With the grill inlet still attached it will never suck enough water thru the air dam to make it to the air box so you can hammer away in the rain or thru water.
