new addition to family

for some (SNL Users) this is already know. but for those of you who do not frequent SNL i recently found out i have another daughter. she is 11 years old right now. I am in the process of building a relationship with her. I talk on the phone with her almost every night, and have gone down to visit with her on 2 occasions.
after the last visit (yesterday ) she wanted to come stay with me as she is out school for spring recess. so i bring her and her little sister(not mine) back to the house. after there for a while, the little sister starts getting homesick, (Missing mommy) my daughter was a trooper, consoling her sister(made me proud) but in the process she becomes homesick. and with me new and recent in her life , (i in a sense am a stranger to her. i ask do you want me to take you back home. she ask quietly " can you please" she lives like a hour or so south of where i live.
well i take them back home, by this time it is like 1:30 in the morning. well shortly after dropping the 2 girls home i hit a deer. on a back country road. here are some pictures.

well thanks for the time for me to post about my newest edition, and talk about my daughter. just in case you are interested here is a photo of her, she is the girl in the black dress.

Great to hear that you are working on building a relationship with your 'new' daughter. It will take time. I found out a few years ago, not by my choice, that I am adopted and I know who my birth parents are. In my case there is a lot of stress in the situation due to the circumstances and there is a mutual agreement to leave things as they are.

Sorry to hear about the damage to your truck.

No problem Mike. I have always felt like a family member since I joined this site and we should be here to support each other as a family would in the high and lows of life. Yes I did look at the picture and she is a sweetie. I can see why she would be your highlight and stress reliever.

Take care.

Well for some of you viewers of this in case you are just wondering my take on this.

well...................................
1) It is about time ( Mike has known about her the whole time just unable to communicate with her)
2) She is a real sweety, she is alot like our oldest son and Mike to a T
3) I get along with the mother so far pretty well and you don't see this happen in other relationships to much.
4) Any questions for me feel free to ask me ....
