I know two good drywall companies although both are located in the Ogden area... How big is the job and where is it located?

I'm in West Jordan, so I don't know if they would come down here or not, but I will entertain a bid if they will! I haven't measured the wall sqft yet, but the floorplan is around 1550 and is kitchen, living area, bath, and basically 3 bedrooms.

Thanks Tom!

Aww come on David. Mudding and taping is so much fun.

Finishing up your house, or a different place?

There are two jobs I have sworn that as long as I am doing well enough to pay someone to do, I will. Those are drywall and roofing. I'm still in pretty good shape and the family is doing well, so I am going to keep someone in business for at least one more job by letting them do it...

I'm doing the basement. I hope to have it completed for the summer and probably another 2-3 years out of the house. By then I will be looking for something a little bigger...

I know a couple of people that hang and tape. I'll see how busy they are. I also have a friend that has a painting business if you are in the market for a painter.

David, I talked to the guys over the weekend. Everyone is 2-3 months out on work. I didn't talk to the painter though.

Thanks for the try!

I actually found someone this weekend, so I am good to go.

May 12-16th will be a busy week at my house. Hopefully they will get done quickly and not use the entire week. That way I can get some painting done over that next weekend. I'm having to move the Explorer outside and everythin from the basement to the garage. I don't like the Explorer to sit outside - took too long to get the paint right and I'd hate for a meteor to fall out of the sky on it and mess it up (my luck you know...)

Well... I have to tell you, if you are looking for a drywall crew, I have one. These guys did one of the best jobs I have ever seen.

Soloman Drywall
801.592.0019
John

The guys were on time each day and were hard workers. A very good group of guys. John and Jessie said they will go anywhere in the state also. If you ever need a drywall crew, give them a call and tell them David Nicholson gave you the number and I said they will take care of you!
