7.3 and bio diesel

Has anyone out there been burning the BP bio diesel in a 1999 or newer 7.3? I would like to try and have got some good respones from the other forums and just wanted to know if anyone in Michigan has tried it either partial or full tanks with out issues. I understand that bio does attack rubber fule hoses, but have been told the 7.3's built in the 90's to current do not have any. Please advise, thanks.

I have been using B5 to B20 in all my vehicles for about 7 years with no ill effects. I get my fuel from Crystal Flash Energy -Lowell, Mi. I use a premium fuel and they use soy B100 as their feedstock. I would ask where they get their bio from. You will have to change fuel filters after about 3 tanks of bio as this will clean out your tank. Go to National Biodiesel Board - www.biodiesel.org - www.nbb.org for more info on biodiesel.

Bio will be fine in your truck.
But you'll have to clean the filter, or change it for sure.

It doesn't eat lines up as bad as they say.
If you have old weak lines, they will probably caus problems, but a powerstroke should be fine.
Tim1 runs bio without issues.
