2002 Navigator air suspension sagging rear
My '02 Navigator just started sagging in rear. I know this is common problem with the air ride. Here is something weird, I am currently selling the SUV and let a guy test drive it for about 15-20 mins. I was not in the Navi with him. He brought it back. I got in it today and realized it was riding funny. CK Susp light went on. I checked the switch under glove box, it was on. I turned it on and off. I don't think the pump is even turned on, I don't hear it.
I don't think the guy did anything to it, but it just was weird!
I am hoping a fuse????
Any help...

Your Navi is a little young to for the rear springs to have worn out but stranger things have happened. If the compressor is running and the rear won't raise, there's a pretty good leak somewhere.
Did you ever notice it dropping when parked overnight?
Leaks in the air springs are, by far, the most common problem. Have someone put it on a lift and let the axle hang. Look closely at the springs for cracks, tears, or other damage. If all looks good, check all of the air line connections with soapy water with the compressor running. (Kids bubble liquid in a spray bottle works great for this). Make sure the lines are all connected.
If it is below freezing outside, moisture in the dryer could have frozen and is blocking airflow, but this would indicate other issues with the system too. The vent valve in the compressor could also be stuck open.

That is very possible, but it's also very uncommon. That's why an initial visual inspection is important before intense troubleshooting. Spring failures are the most common failure, but anything "can" happen. Don't jump to conclusions.

Where do I get the air springs?
2 places I have found:
New rear air spring assembly. for 1997-2002 (4 wheel drive) Expedition
Suncore Industries - Ford Expedition Air Suspension Parts and Conversion Kits
for the 44.00 difference I would rather get the "lifetime warranty" set.

For aftermarket. I would recommend Arnott for quality, only because I'm not familiar with Suncore. I have Arnott parts in service that are 7 years old with 0 failures.
Rememer, "The price of quality parts is forgotten long after the warranty runs out". Buy the cheaper ones, but plan on replacing them again while you own the truck.

Navigator air supension
I just repaired the air supension on my 2002 navigator. the problem was the compresor relay located under the compresor. (Lay on your back and look up behind the front passenger side light.) $102 from ford dealer. CAUTION: the trobleshooting tip. "Does the car lower when turned off?" is not the best indicator of a problem. This is normal in the navigator for ease of entrance. Chech the owners manual.

I have a 2000 Navigator 4WD. The rear end dropped just out of the blue and the air suspension motor does not come on. I ran power directly to the air suspension motor and it runs fine, So I replaced the Module and the motor still does not come on. I replaced the rear hight sensor and still nothing. I jumped the motor to run it and aired the rear end back up. But I cant get the motor to come on. There is and has been a slow leak in the air line so the air suspension motor used to run everyday twice when i would start it for about 30 seconds. Any ideas why the motor will not come on? I checked all of the fuses. They are good
