Strange noise while turning....
Last night while left turning onto my street I heard a 'hoooooot' noise coming from the back end. Today while turning right onto a street I heard the 'owl' sound again. Happens at the time I am straightening out. I will mess around and see how I can exactly duplicate before I take it in. Wheel bearings? Rear end? Are there clutches in our rear ends?

"Are their clutches in our rear ends?" Aummmm, won't touch that question.
As far as the noise, I don't know, might have something to do with the braking system or the traction control as there is no posi track third member. Hope it is not a wheel bearing as they normally go a long long time. There have been some reports on this site about clunking noises on backing up, but I have never had this problem. (yet) I would just guess brake noises. Turning right or left might make a difference in the noise. I would try that. The way the traction control works using the brakes may have something to do with it. It may be acting up when it should not. Don't know.
