Straight Vegetable Oil
I have several questions about SVO. 2001 F-250 7.3L 300000 miles
1. I have been to several web sites and located numerous bio diesel and SVO systems is there one anybody would recommend?
2. The 01 truck is puffing a little smoke out the oil fill cap will SVO or Bio Fuel make it worse and should we wait until a new motor is put in?
3. How will the injection system hold up with SVO or Bio fuels.
We have ran Bio fuel in it and runs great when it is warm outside the only thing I see is that the MPG drops.
Thank you for any responses.

I've run the vegistroke (wvo) for a year now. I really like it. There new version is supposed to better yet. They are a sponsor here and have their own forum. The white smoke out your oil cap is probably blow-by. I don't think running veg or bio-diesel will have any effect on that or the injectors.

I've checked by taking a sample of the oil in a glass jar and placing it in the refrigerator to see if it becomes jelly like.
I have also looked for the halo sign wihen putting a drop on a paper towel.
In addition, I send my oil off for analysis.
None of these three methods have indicated any veg oil or polymerization in the crank case oil
