The '08 may indeed get 20mpg on the road if the 3.31 (?) axles are fitted. We get 19+ with 3.73 axles on our '07 in cruise control at ten over.

Thats a ton of miles for an 07. No, no difference between the 07/08s to speak of. I would run a carfax and try to get an Oasis report. Did you drive it? Slow to almost a stop then take off, does the tranny shift funny, or jump around gears? Some have this issue when it shifts from 1-2 and 2-1.

[QUOTE=kiosk]actually looking at an '07, any difference from '08? let me know what yall thing

There are a few differences between the 07’s and 08’s

Depending on what month the 07 came off the line, transmission problems, and Weak fuel rail cross-over hose develops cracks which leaks fuel and could cause an under hood fire. To name a few

Some differences between a 2007 and 2008 Expeditions are.
  • Oil change intervals went from every 5, 000 to 7,500 miles.<O</O
  • Power running boards option $995<O</O
  • Backup Camera option $455<O</O
  • Added chrome around radio *****<O</O
  • Convenience Package made standard<O</O
  • Axle gears 3.73 verses 3.31 gears on non-el with trailer tow.<O</O
  • The 08 does not have this square plastic box that says "Triton" and has the Ford logo on top of the air intake,<O</O
  • The 08 XLT bumpers now match the body color like the Limited's do, instead of being black<O</O
  • Cost more :-)<O</O
You can visit my website for more information<O</O

I have to agree.. Not to bash EBs but when I was shopping.. I took the base EB and added a few options and before you know it you are at the price of the limited, so I just went with the limited.. I love my black on black, but the white is equally as nice! If I were to get another one it would be a white one just to be different.. But I really want to get a look at the new Sequoia..

I wouldn't say very lame, but it is definately dated and time for an upgrade. Monotone looks so much better.

If you get a EL make sure that it will fit in your garage or parking space. I have a 07 non EL EB 4X4 and it just will fit in a new duplex garage, the EL would not have let the garage door shut. Also My present inside parking space I have at my condo would cause my rear end to stick out. I mean my 07 Expeditions rear end to stick out if I had an EL.
As far as gas milage, well it's a SUV with a 3.73 so...............
I will watch my fuel rail crossover hose now that I know there could be a problem.
But so far, the poor transmission shifting has been my biggest pain in the neck.
I have the EB white, gold two tone, and I wish it did not, but that is the way it came.
Over all this 07 is "ok", but nothing to write home about.
