Tire and Wheel Deal

I found a new set of tires and rims for $1400.00 new. The guy needs cash. They were never put on his truck. He has the samr year as mine. The problem is will they fit my truck? The tire size is 375x60Rx18 and the rims are Micky Thomoson 18x10 rims. He put on a 4" lift kit on his truck and was going to put them on but got into a little money trouble. I have 35" tires on now with a 2 1/2" leveling kit. I called the mfg and he told my they will with some trimming! I don't know about that. Trim what. The tire is 15.50 wide and that has me a little consurned. I don't want to get the tires and then not be able to use them and if I put on a lift kit they are too small. I just don't know what to do. They cost $2500 I saw the recite. I just wish I never found this now.

Not completely sure what they are talking about, but I have heard that the "trim" means either the wheel well or actual fender.

They will not fit! I asked the wrench at one of our local blacktop corporations and they have a 2005 F350 all lifted and nice tires on it. He measured the distance from my front wheel with the wheel turned to the frame. I have 1 3/4" This Is Not Good! To make matters worse he sold everything for $1100.00 This made me sick.

I was not sure if they would fit, I knew the wide wheels would be the problem if they didnt

If I had it lifted I would have never of found the set up. The width had me a little scared but I thought I could live with it. My 12.50 seem to be nice and I would go up to 13.50 but that is enough. I feel a little better I went and spent $200 on a Porter Cable belt sander. A new tool will make anyone feel better. Thank you everyone I get all excited when I see truck parts.
