Pics? of your Lifted Expedition...

I have a 98 EB and the time has come to lift it. I need some pics of yours along with some specs to help me choose a lift height. Like Lift brand and size, along with tire rim size combo. back spacing etc.

I am looking for maybe 4 inches, 35 tires, and your help would be appreciated. So show off your hard earned $$$ at work!!!

here's mine without lift. Hopefully I can post a lifted pic in a couple of weeks.

My old 98.3" PA body lift,2" Daystar coil spacers and torsion bars turned.Ran 35,s on a 16x10 wheel.Trimmed front valance and front inside corner of running board.
Having problems with pics.Ill get them up later. My current 98 just put 2" spring spacers and turned torsion bars.Running 305,s on 16x10,s,same areas trimmed to clear the turning

A "notch"? Wont give you much.Used an air tool on mine to get close to 2" and it was on there Id guess about 8-12 seconds. Not sure how many rotations it was or notches.

Still working on pics.

18" Lightnings and no lift on 285,s.Others are 2" spring spacers with torsion bars turned. This is the way it sits now.305,s with a 16x10 wheel.
Still working on pics of my last Expy with 5" of lift with 35,s.

PERFECT!! = that's kind of the stance i was looking for.....what is the coversion for inches on those 305's?.. are they 35's or 33's?... dont' understand the "torsion bar" turned thing, i understand the spacer lift, because i had that on my wrangler before i did a suspension lift.. but i'll search the forum i guess about the torsion bar...

what's the offset on those 16x10's?

nice rig!!

Just a Q. Does it concern you that lifting the Expy will raise the center of gravity and make rollovers easier in a accident or severe avoidance maneuver? I am not being a smart a**. I wanted to lift mine as well, but this has always crossed my mind.

The 305,s come out to just above a 33". Ill get a better explanation on the torsion bar turning.Ill also have to measure
It will raise the center of gravity obviously, but nothing extreme by far.Just drive like you would drive a lifted Expedition. They are speed demons and no reason to try and out corner a Ferrari.[not being a SA by far]WHen I had my old one lifted 5",that was on my mind alot more, but I kept in my mind I have to drive a "little" more cautious.
