I know that most of his stuff was written in jail or prison, and about all I can remember are a few snippets of his songs. One of them was:

"Sittin' on a hill in Escondido - just wasting my time
With a bag full of avocados, and a bottle full of wine..."

Who was that?

 

Ain't got a clue, Wolfie. Sounds like something David Allen Coe might do, along with the prison time.But being as he is a Texan, I doubt he would write songs about Escondido.
