Red Sox doing more to stableize the team..

They give Francona a 3 year extension and Sign Bartolo Colon..

Hopefully Colon can contribute this year after having surgury..

If nothing else he should be a positive influience in the club house..

 

It's about time they rewarder Francona...argueably one of the best managers in baseball.


Gotta love the Colon signing...no pressure to be a number 1...don't need big numbers out of him...insurance in case one of the kids...Lester or Bucholz struggles!!!

 

x2 on Francona being one of the best managers in baseball. Pretty good backup plan if Curt goes down. (Which I think he is done for this season)
