Good morning guys,

Its 39F here at 9:30a, high today is 49.. the rain just moved out last night
and this weekend is looking good with temps in the mid 50s

 

Got to run to the bank talk at ya guys later.

 

I'll just be glad when we get back into the 30's!! We've had snow on the ground since November. I'm ready for spring!!!!

 

We've not really had a cold winter, I think the coldest it has gotten is maybe 18 or so..

I'd like to get a good hard freeze, last year I found too many black widows around (outside) my house

 

Morning y'all we haven't had any snow where I'm at just north of Little Rock this winter, I don't think we will this year. We've had plenty of rain though I have a lake in the back yard I am hoping it will dry out before our GTG next month .

 

We had our coldest day just this week. It was -11 here on tuesday, with a 25mph wind blowing. Yes, that sucked!!

 

You can keep the below zero stuff. We had one ice/snow mix. Enough to make roads slick for a day. If we get over 2" of snow a year we are lucky. Can't imagine snow on the ground for months on end. That would take the fun out of it.

 

I don't mind the snow around Christmas. I'd be perfectly happy if it snowed til Dec. 30, then the temperature went back to the 70's on Jan. 2nd!

A lesson to be learned from typing the wrong email address!!!!

A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a
particularly icy winter.
They planned to stay at the same hotel where
They spent their honeymoon 20 years earlier.
Because of hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their
travel schedules.
So, the husband left Minnesota and flew to Florida on Thursday, with his wife flying down the following day.
The husband checked into the hotel.
There was a computer in his room,
So he decided to send an email to his wife.
However, he accidentally left out one letter in her email address, and without realizing his error, sent the email.
Meanwhile, somewhere in Houston , a widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral.
He was a minister who was called home to glory following a heart attack.
The widow decided to check her email expecting messages from relatives and friends.
After reading the first message, she screamed and fainted.
The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on the
Floor, and saw the computer screen which read:

To: My Loving Wife
Subject: I've Arrived
Date: October 16, 2005
I know you're surprised to hear from me.
They have computers here now and you are allowed to send emails to your loved ones.
I've just arrived and have been checked in.
I've seen that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow.
Looking forward to seeing you then!!!!
