Motor Replacement

My son has a 1997 F150 he has rebuilt the truck from tires to hood. Last week a woman on a cell phone ran in the back of him when he was a a traffic light. He is ok but the car went under his truck. I saw the rear springs will need to be replaced and the hitch. Now the trans is leaking! Just rebuilt last yet never leaked. Transfer case New now it leaks! And now the main seal is leaking plus it has a bearing tap Not Good. Due to the age and it has 159,000 miles on it the Ins. Co. will give him $1600.00 max for his repairs.
He has one of those High Mortgage Co. loan on his house and in one year his payment went from $1700 to $2300 so he is hurting. This is where Mom and Dad have to help. At the present time my health is in the toilet! I would like to take a week off from work and replace the motor but I am not sure if that is a good idea. So I need to fine a place to have his motor, trans and transfer case replaced. I do not like the local Pa. rip off shops we have. Delaware has better truck people! I get my truck worked on at Millsboro Ford Dealer but I think for this he need a good private shop that understands about out trucks.
He will never give that truck up! When I see his truck next to mine and it is lifted, headers, big tires and red paint I feel so good! That My Boy.

We found a place it is called L&M Engines. www.lmengines.com It is near my son's house. They make race motors and have a complete machine shop and dyno. The will pull his motor and do a complete rebuild and hop it up a little. They like the 4.6 motor. It will take 7 working days to complete it. $2500/$3500 for the motor rebuild and add on HP parts. $1500 to put it in. This place is something to see! I have lived in this area all my life and never knew it was there. I just never go that direction I guess.
