supercrew f150 top rear seat removal!!!
i am a new owner of a 06 supercrew king ranch! i need to transfer my audio stuff from my sport trac to my f150. i looked online on a few sites and people are mostly putting the amps behind the seat where they can't been seen.
does anybody have an idea how the backseat comes out?
anybody have pics of they're 150 with amps installed on them?

thanks that helps alot however the rearseat removal part seems kinda hard to do! i wish it showed other pics further back to see better.
does anybody know how to take out the front bezel to replace the radio? i will be putting back in my pioneer avic-d3 shortly.
i also notice that the front speakers are easily accessible with just prying of the grill. i tried to do the same with the back and seemed like i was going to damage something if i went harder. do i have to take off the whole panel or do i just need to pry the grill off like the top?
does the back door have a spot for a tweeter like the front?

It seems to be easier for me to grab a hold to one of the tabs toward the bottom of the bezel (by the ashtray opening) and firmly pull back evenly.
Its a piece of cake once you notice the metal clips (which are the only thing holding it on). Also, once you get most of it off- start to pay attention to the harnesses which are attached. Some folks have managed to weasel the bezel off to one side and still change the radio out without removing the harnesses, but I like to make sure everything is tucked firmly in ty-wrapped since I have a few more extra components in there.
...Prior to putting the bezel back on, you may want to see if any of the metal clips came out with the bezel. IMHO- it was easier to re-seat the bezel with the clips put back into the dash-( before putting the bezel on).
The back panel will have to be removed for speaker change/additions. Also, I don't recall ever having tweeters in the rear doors (factory) in all the 150s I've played with.

Check out my gallery as well. I have 2 amps behind the back seat. I also bought a sub box for 2 JL audio 10"subs from www.supercrewsound.com The box fits perfectly under my back seat. Tell me what you think. I put my system in my self so feel free to ask questions. The guys on this site gave my all the info I needed to put in everything.

sonic that looks awesome man! are you really happy with what supercrewsound gave you? i have 3 10w1's right now and i'm contemplating if i should just buy his box and put 2 of my 10's in there or just sell all these 3 subs and use JL audio's stealth ported box!
the JL dealers around here say that ported box are the way to go but its bigger. he said with the f150 stealth box, its with a w3 and its freakin awesom and say it'll out perform 2 10w1's in a sealed box.
let me know your thoughts on this!

I am happy with the supercrew sound box. It looks like it is supposed to be there. This is my first system so I can't compare my sound to anything else. But if I where you I would go by the the JL guys suggestion. I talked around with guys in my area and got a different suggestion from all of them so I went with what I thought best.

today was my quest to get that back seat out and it pissed me off for quite a while because i couldn't get my hand beaters back there to reach for anything.
i just kept in mind to look for a square hole! well i wasn't sure if i was on it and i pushed hard and did a bicep curl on the seat and it came up! did the other side and boom, out!
thanks for the help guys.
to add in, it looks like i can fit my small 4 channel mtx back there on the driver side! just enough space for it and still have some slash on the wires on the bottom. the harness on the keyless entry won't come out unless the amp is moved though.
i'll post pics whenever i get them back in! i'm sure it'll look nice.
