1999 F150 Airbag Light
My '99 airbag light started coming on around the middle of December... it flashes the code 32. I had a mechanic look it up and it refers to a open cicuit on the driver's side bag.
Mine doesn't come on all the time... sometime I hit a good size bump and it comes on, other times I can just be going down the highway and it starts flashing... and sometimes it comes on when I start the truck... go figure.

I wanted to update everyone and let you know that I resolved the problem. The problem turned out to be a burned out light bulb. The bulb is the one that indicates the passenger side bag is off. The bulb is soldered in a circuit board with a few resistors and a magnetic reed switch. Ford dosen't sell the bulb by itself and wanted $70.00 for the assembly. I substituted the bulb with an LED and currrent limiting resistor in serious. Think I used a 1K resistor.
