The Super Duty makes a very good candidate for off road upgrades. Gotta love solid axles all the way around. If I were in the market for a 3/4 ton it would more than likely be the new Super Duty with the Powerstroke and a 6 speed handshaker.
I may drive a Tundra, but I don't hate Ford Trucks. I just hate the 5.4L Triton V8, and the antique transmission hooked up to it.

I also wouldn't cry (and neither would Ford Superduty buyers) if the Torqueshift gained another gear, or maybe even two more gears. Think of how cool a heavy duty seven speed hooked up to a 6.4L diesel would be. It could have both a double overdrive and a really really low first gear. Now that would be some flexibility.

Torqshift is a great transmission...They have not had the issues with them like the older 4 speed auto's....By the way the 5.4 is a better motor after "03"
I like the one in my "04" hated the one in my old "99"
