ok i had to be approved for the illinois chapter , and wasnt sure so hence the question . been over here being nosy and asking questions anyway so kinda moot point huh .
Tell you what, since I'm feeling "generous", we'll bypass the $25, and let you become an FTE supporter for $19.99! Then you can share in all the benefits of membership, PLUS get rid of all the ads!! Life is so much better, when you belong! And ads stink...unless you are looking for something!
sounds like a deal if i can remember to do it . been meaning too for the longest time so i too can have that all knowing and powerful supporter tag next to my name.
Yeah, it comes and goes - sort of a love/hate relationship some days. At least there are lots of other forums where a guy can hang out.
Trying to cram OHV guys together with flatheaders is bound to cause a few tight spots.
edit: Ryan I was just looking thru your galleries - sweet lineup of trucks. On the 49 pickup and the 51 3 ton, how is the Mercury badge held on the side of the hood? Just curious.......
Tim
Thanks, you got quite the lineup also
I'm assuming your meaning the Mercury badge on fenders, that has 3 bolts to hold t on, huge wide holes with a thin nut amazing it stayed on. The Mercury badge on hood is the exact same as a Ford emblem just moved to the middle of the hood instead of the front.
Here is a prgress pic.
