geez you guys are boring

I always check in this forum and theres never anything going on. How about we get a meet going, like the ones last year a lot of us missed (including me)? We should be able to play around at San Gabriel Canyon OHV, or Stoddard for a day. Ive always wanted to drive Rincon Shortcut, which is a really easy 25 mile long road from San Gabriel OHV to Angeles Crest. Its closed until Feb according to the ranger. Im interested in getting everyone together to do some runs with difficulty ranging from 1-2 on a 1-5 scale. Lets get out there and have some fun.

PS, i dont do mud anymore

Now youre talking! We need to get some life in this chapter. I think that short cut in February would definitely be happening. Let's see who else thinks so.

It isn't for lack of trying, it's for lack of interest = too many things going on in SoCal.

In Nov and Dec, several of us (including SteveBricks, Kepler 4, copper) have met for coffee in Rowlands Heights, but so far, that's about it.

Months ago, I suggested having a GTG at the Perris CA RR Museum, fun for all ages. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

Also suggested meeting on a Sunday at a local truck dismantler chock full of used and NOS Ford truck parts (the owner is a long time pal of mine, and agreed to open up on Sunday)...a total of three ppl signed up.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

It was my friend with a Canon 20d and a Canon 100-400 lens sitting really far away so he didnt get dirty.

Rincon Shortcut sounds great to me! I'm camping in Cal City Presidents Day weekend. If it's another weekend I'll go.
