Spring is coming, FTE chapter get together?

Awhile back it was suggested that we hold a Idaho chapter get together in the spring. I know it's hard to think of Bar-B-ques and camp fires when it's snowing, but spring is just around the corner.
Any suggestions on dates and location? I am a member of a couple of Idaho groups that gets together once a month. One in caldwell for chinese food another one rotates the meeting location .

If we make a list of possible locations then we could have members vote! I would think that the locations you both have mentioned would be excellent choices for a weekend outing. Let's see if we can get more participation from the members, how bout it boy's and girls?

IDPisan,

I took my family out for chinese food tonight. PM me, please. I'd like to meet the group(s).

BTW...I vote for CJ Strike Resevoir. My wife and kids think it would be a fun outing. Would we be at a campsite with hook-ups? Or are we dry-camping? I'd be bringing a 24-foot travel trailer, my wife, two daughters, and my chocolate labrador retreiver.

Any one from a little farther north like to volunteer a spot? Cascade wouldn't be too bad but its still 4ish hours drive for me.

Ya know guy's and gals we could do a couple of these things. I live in Middleton but I spend alot of time in the wood river valley working over the summer. I could go to a eastern ho-down and do a western ho-down. My wife and I are bound and determined to spend at least one weekend at Redfish this year!

Thought I'd bump this up. Has there been any more thoughts regarding where we should go?

I've used the barbecue three times since 1/1/2008, so cold weather doesn't bother me when it comes to cooking.

I think I'll end up going with the local club, they have 3 or 4 camping trips a year. Once the FTE Idaho chapter wants to have one I'll attend. Probably too cold for thinking about camping.

Sounds good to me. I'll keep checking back every once in awhile. Maybe the Idaho Chapter will become active one day.

We can always have a GT (Get-Together) for a day or two of fishing at one of the local ponds/lakes/rivers.
