Ran fuel pump pressure test "0" pressure

96 Ford-F-150 EFI appears to be no fuel reaching injection pressure tester is there any other possibilities other than bad pump that could cause this? Any advice greatly appreciated Thank you Mark aka maga

If you can hear the pump running, chances are its the pressure regulator.
Pinch the return line to the tank and see if it builds pressure. If it does, go buy a regulator.

SteveBricks thank you for getting back to me I would have wrote sooner but got called into work, I will try as you suggest, this whole thing is sort of mystifying for me. I usually don't have these kind of drive you cazy problems with machines. But by God looks like was overdue for one or something. I still like this truck I have had some good ol fords in my day, 70 1 ton 4x4 she was sweet and a beautiful 71 3/4 ton I should have kept instead of this one I think sometimes. but have near 200,000 on this one and this is first hiccup so been fortunate. And says a lot for ford trucks..Thanks Again for takin the time..maga
