had to put to use my 4 wheel drive this weekend because of the weather. and i moved the selector back to 2 wheel drive and and now it wont come out. and suggestions on what to look at and does anyone know if this covered under warranty

 

It's coverd by the 3 year 36k warrentee, after that it's your dime unless you have an extended warentee.

 

4x4 high or 4x4 Lo?

 

if its electric, make sure the truck is in neutral and your foot is on the brake and it should go in or out of 4x4 if everything is working correctly.

 

I concur with superduty. I too had a similar problem with it not coming out of 4L.

In my case, I had to get it on level ground, stopped with it running in neutral, it came right out. I was trying to take it out while still on the hill....it seemed like it wanted the pressure to be off of the front shaft.

 

thanks for the replys i went outside about an hour ago and started her up and did everything again and low and behold she came right out no questions asked. the only i can figure is she wasnt done playing in 4 wheel drive so she wasnt coming out lol
