Pinks
Hi Everyone, We all went to see the Pinks All Out in Tucson last night and It was fun, Not the best thing I have ever seen, but fun. Well it ended up being a 12.70 second class of racers and when they anounced that About half the racers left. Maybe because they are Racers and watching a 12.+ quarter mile race would put them to sleep. the very last video is the winner (Sorry not the Mustang) but some 70 year old guy in a truck! the other is of the winner of the Quick 8 that duster ran 8.20 second quarter FAST!
Just wanted to share with you.

Yea it was fun, that was the first time We as a family went to the Drags, it had been almost 20 years, when I was a Kid my Dad use to take me to all of the races I can remenber the 72 winternationals at Carona de Tucson, I got Don the snake Perdome's and Mickey Thompson's autograph on my hat that day,... Boy I wish I still had the Hat.

I've watched pinks twice, the first time a 66 ford galaxy took a mustang home and the second time. A mustang took a honda civic home. The stang had the civic covered in the first 2 rounds. The 3rd round they were going to spot the civic I think it was 9 car lengths. The civic broke an axle on launch. The gallaxy was just plain fast in the first one, the mustang beat him once with some spots and so on, but in the final round that big ford muscled down the track, I don't know what motor it was running, but I'ld say it was a big block. I think the ole gallaxy had been sand bagging the stang all along. The stang was no sloutch, but that big heavy ford just romped. I don't care how fast my mustang is, I wouldn't race for titles, anything can go wrong, it doesn't matter if you break or not, the other guy still gets your car, "no way"!!!!!!!!!!
