Reliable mechanics in Portland?

My partner and I just recently purchased a 1973 Ford F100. We're going on an extended road trip soon and need to make sure the truck will be in tip top shape for the trip.

Can anyone recommend a great reliable mechanic in the Portland area who works on older Ford trucks?

We've been taking our truck to a shop downtown and have been having more problems with the truck since we started taking it to them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I didn't get a response to this question either. Have you found someone new yet?

I do not live in the Portland area, but I know Gregg Mahoney with Cylinder Head Speicalties and Kurt Raz that runs his own shop, don't know the name of it. They are in our Quarter Midgit racing club.
