Question I e-mailed Sams Club

The local Sams Club does not offer any diesel for sale at thier pumps here. I e mailed them 2 weeks ago to see if they would put some in with a B5 or B10 or B20 mix. I realy want a small mix of Bio to run in my truck with a fuel point that is close to me. Well suprise suprise, they have not emailed me back. Have you guys/gals ever noticed how many diesel are sitting in a Sams Club parking lot at any given time? Alot. I even let them know that. Anyway, just rantin and raving. Is there anything wlse I can do to push them in my direction?

Tim

Organize a letter writing campaign to inundate them with requests for Biodiesel.

That is interesting. I wrote wal-mart a year or so ago about putting in E85 pumps at their local super centers and Sams clubs. Within a couple days they sent a reply basically saying "We're looking into it as part of our dedication to the environment and our customers"

It seemed to be a canned response, but at least they acknowledged my email.

the only thing I can think of is that they dont want the "big truck traffic" in the pumps? I would be all for it!

That is a good idea, asking Sam's to carry bio. I'll write them too.

They have little to worry about, truckers wont take the time to fillup at an automotive pump. The pumps at truck stops pump at 2 to 3 times the volume and pressure as your standard gas pump.
