I have a few friends who have them and they say the same thing. Those engines run forever with minimal problems, as long as you do the routine maint. Now a few other friends have the 6.0 and they all say that they would never buy another one again.(major electric problems) Them diesels in general are pretty expensive, as in (oil changes, fuel filters, etc...) But if you want power they are the way to go!

yea i have a 2002 f150 now and am looking to step up in truck down in year if this truck is as clean as the guy says it is. during summer i tow a 6500# unloaded boat. so to say my 5.4L f150 doesnt cut it really. And i would like some more all around power. did you click on the link by chance? i would like your opinion?

Yeah i checked out, it's a nice truck and like i said everthing i've read and heard about the 7.3 is it last forever. You were talking about your 5.4 now, I have a 2006 f-150 with the 5.4 and 3.73's and i pull a 16' trailer loaded with my big red truck and it pulls it no problems, it's no speed demon, but i can cruise around 70-75 with no problems. If your looking for a diesel give craigs list a look, i see all kinds of diesels on there. Shop around if that truck deal goes sour. With these gas(diesel) prices up like they are People tend to sell there toys!!!

yea i hear ya, I LOVE CRAIGS LIST! i dont know the actual weight of the boat and trailer but my truck has some trouble up hills with that things. but then again you have 3.73 and i have the 3.55. so you have an advantage. but the boat i tow is a 2003 mastercraft x-star fully optioned out.
