I'm looking for a good 79 tailgate and maybe a mint 79 grill shell. Tall orders, I know.
What I really need right now is to find someone that has done the rear D-60 disc brake conversion using caddy callipers and chev rotors and actually finished it. There are lots of posts about guys starting this project but no one ever says their done. Is this a sign of what I'm up against? I'm fully able to wing it as I have a welding/machine shop but you sure can kill alot of time messing with e-brake brackets and cables.
One more thing I could use is a couple of leafs from a 3" rear spring. I just want to add 1 more to each side while I have them out. I'll cut them down to suit.

I just found a company in Spokane http://www.blackbirdscustomtrucks.com/
They sell the lever and spring kit for the Caddy brackets for $45.00 I'll give them a try and I'll post back how they work.

If you look at the design of the aftermarket fabbed caliper brackets offered by these various manufacturers they all support the caliper in one place only. Factory brakets support the caliper (allow it to slide) over a much wider area. I can't help wondering if the caliper will twist as the pads wear.
