Are things really that bad Dutch?I hate to hear you are thinking about selling your home. Where would you stay after you sell your house. You have to pay rent somewhere.

 

The only catch to it all is that I have to wrap up some details, so I have to hang on for a while yet. But the mortgage and refi stuff was arranged by the estranged while I was stationed away and is killing me.

The refi especially was a bad thing - she cost me every last dime of equity I had in the place after more than ten years paying on it, and I'm pretty sure it is what she has been living on all this time.

Either way, if I can't hang on here, I need to clear the decks in case I have to move out.

Yes it's that bad. I'm deciding today just which two or three fishing rods I want to keep. I have about a truckload of everything from surf rods to crappie poles, and they never get used anymore.

If you fish - you might want to come on out and see what you like. There's a couple of casting nets around here too.

I don't want to lose the place, but the worst case scenario is exactly that. If I fail to raise enough cash to re-tranny my truck I think it's all going to go down the drain.
