im going to post this here sense you guys will have the most knowledge. ive got a 95 5.8 out of the lightning and im putting it in a 65 f100. heres my ?. idont need the smog pump, a/c compressor, or power sttering pump. i would like to eliminate all this but all i find is eliminators for the 5.0. will the 5.0 alt brackets and pullies fit the 5.8 so i can use the 5.0 a/c, power steering eliminator. any help or suggestion would be great.

 

The 5.0 smog pump eliminator will work. I've seen some A/C and P/S eliminators, but I'm not sure if they're 5.0 pieces as well.

 

I recently did a 5.0 to 5.8 swap in a 92 F-150 and all the brackets lined up. Ford put two sets of holes in all of them so they would fit either deck height. They should work, and if they don't they should give you a good place to start building from.

 

so i should use the 95 5.0 brackets and eliminators. the problem i have is if i use the 5.0 eliminator wich will fit i will have 2 tensioners because the alt braket on the 95 has the tensoiner boult into it. so ill start looking for the 5.0 parts wich sounds like they willl work.
