Pelletier junctions, lining the airbox with heatsinks connected to some peletier junctions could drop the air by at least aa few degrees. I am going to give it a try once I find a good source of cheap junctions. Stick some directly to an intercooler would probably work even better, Anybody got an intercooler they want to donate? make sure that you have good coolin on the hot side cause thats alot of heat

The best way to avoid heat soak on an after market intake or factory, is with the heat wrap tape. The biggest drawl back, is it makes the intake look like something form the appolo program.

 

There is a new paint/insulation that is on the market, my father has it in his portfolio
for investing, they are making some big claims about painting the side of your house
and dropping heating and cooling bill big time. He is going to get some so we can try out on our vehicles and for his house. They say you can paint the bottom of your car and firewall to make it colder in the summer since motor heat and cat con heat radiates through. I can't remember the name of the company I'll have to give him a call and find out the name. Those junctions actually cool to 25degree below ambient
no heat wrap or paint could claim that. I'll try it when I can afford a bunch of them and report back.
