97 F150 needs a butt tuck...
I live north of Columbia, got a 97 F150 for $500! Yeah it's a good price and it's in ROUGH shape, that guy that owned it didn't sweat a lot of detailed upkeep. The bed is totalled! He hit a side rail and destroyed the bed, knocked off a few other things like the Park linkage... no damage to the frame at ALL! A/C works, got a 4.6L V8, Flowmasters and runs rough since somebody did some "rewiring" on it. So, my works cut out for me.
My first task is to remove the bed and replace it or make a flat bed for it. Gonna go for the farm look with some 2x4 slots for removable wood side panels. That oughta keep me busy till Turkey Day.

Thanks all y'all - speshly from SC!
How do you add a pic? I can show you the poor pitiful backend damage...
I'll have the bed off it next week and start the work on the flat bed.
Might go with diamond plate and a polyuerethane coating.
Might need a headache bar! Any and all suggestions APPRECIATED!
