Fuel Transfer pump

Hello,
I wanted some opinions on what type of fuel transfer pump I should get.
I want to buy biodiesl in bulk, and I will need a pump to get it from the barrel into my truck. Any opinions on that?

There should be a wide array of options...do you want to use a hand pump, electric, air, 12VDC, 120 or 240 VAC, variable speed, auto on / auto off or a switch, plain hose or an actual dispenser nozzle, how fast do you want it to go, how much do you want to spend, do you want to meter the gallons as you pump, or just know that some fuel is going in, do you want a filter and water separator on the pump or just trust what is coming out of the bulk tank. You may also want to consider if the fuel / pump is going to get cold during the winter and/or be exposed to the weather year around.

The guys over on the biodiesel forum might have a little more insight on what set-up's they use. But basically, choose your options above, then look for materials like Teflon, Viton and Nylon for seals and valves and steel, stainless steel or aluminum metals. Stay away from Natural rubber, nitrile, polypropylene, PVC and Tygon, as they are attacked by biodiesel while brass, bronze, copper, lead, tin, zinc accelerate the oxidation process.

When buying a pump make sure that the manufacuter explicitly says that it is compatable with motor fuels. Usually not a big deal but there are pumps out there which are not supposed to be used with fuel.
