washington dc housing info

greetings people. i am putting together info for some college applications, looking into georgetown and was wondering about the surrounding area.

georgetown gave me a list of areas and approximate rents, i am wondering actually what area's are good and which to stay out of? safety is most in my mine, commute i know is a night mare in dc, so something close to the rail system would be nice, but driving would not bother me either if it means having a safe neighborhood.

thanks.

yup, sure is!!!

Places in PG to stay away from: (long list!) Oxen Hill (42), Kentland (33), well, actually most of the outlying areas of DC that r in PG county, Mont County is more expensive but much safer
