Maryland Campers

We just got started in this camping experience and have got to say we LOVE it. I originally wanted a fiver but quickly dicovered I couldn't fit down our road so we bought a 2001 Coleman Utah pop up. So far we have stayed at Little Orleans Campground just west of Hancock and Frontiertown outside of OC. Sooooo MD campers fess up.....Whats your favorite spot?

Gettysburg Campground, the KOA in Hagerstown is nice too. Most times, it isn't the campground but who you are there with that really MAKES the weekend/campout. Or to some, how many Miller beers fit into your cooler.

i use to also stay at caledonia state park. I find that the state parks are usually alot cheaper than the private campgrounds and they are maore suited to tent camping which is what i use.

Drummer Boy is nice but now that my wife and I live in Westminster it almost feels like camping in our backyard which is also big enough now.
My wife likes the beach so we have to get to Tom's Cove Assateage.
Still haven't been able to go wheelin on the beach cause of those darn Piping Plovers
also none as "The other white meet".
Irronicly though I work on trailers and don't get to spend too much time in ours anymore. We have a 1996 Coleman Keywest Hybrid. Hybrid because like I said I do work on them for a living. It has a 2004 2nd generation roof. new front box 2 awnings, 1 add a room doubling the living area and every other add on option you can get.
I have an extra add a room if anyone is interested.
Looking to get out more this year. Lay me off will they.

Good lookin rig. Where did you buy the trailor? Living in Columbia where do you get that serviced?
We do the VA. side.
Not being self contained, is a real bear not being able to take advantage of state parks and stuff.

I like going to Hagerstown at the Jellystone park. The whole family gets together and we just catch up on everything.

Morning guys.

Have any of you done any camping in the Carlisle, PA area?

We are looking for a campground in that area for the campers who will be attending the Mid-Atlantic meet August 8-10, 2007.

Any of you going, Read First:Poll: 2008 Mid-atlantic Meet Carlisle All Truck Nationals ?

Good Morning George,
No and actually only made it to Carlisle once.
I had a standing invite for a while to campout in one of my old
interns backyard.
Now I'm a little closer might make it a little more often, besides if
that is state park, they don't allow dogs and it costs to much to
board the little guys.

Well if you know of a place, I think there maybe several, not sure, where we could book about 10 to 15 spots for the meet, I would appreciate your input.

Barry, savage2211 our new DE chapter leader is also an avid camper and is planning a camping meet in June at Killens Pond ST park in Felton, DE.

You all are welcome to join us there also.
