"The Deck"

Ok...

Ken's been giving me shat about me rebuilding the deck.
It's not quite done but its usable now.

I don't know if it is the photo angle or what, but the middle looks like it is sagging already.

Maybe Ken, Pat and I should come up and Load test it...

Then you can rebuild it right...
No it looks good, just busting em on ya..

Well I never said I was a pro.. and unfortunatly you are correct... Spannign 24 feet there are bound to be a few problems.

Dan, you never admit it is wrong...

You always say that is the way you designed it..

Just tell everyone that is so the water doesn't stay on it...

Like Sean said.. It can be fixed..

Just use some shims between the beam and then you can level it..

Hey Dan...I agree with Big Don...NEVER admit that you are wrong...most people wouldn't have the stones to contradict your story!!! Of course, the guys on this forum don't necessarily fall into that category!!!

Sean, I don't think you meet the Minimum weight requirements to be a true tester like us...

So are we going to destroy this deck or fix it...Will be getting cold soon..Global Freezing will be moving in.LOL

I don't know.. The way things have been going it dosen't even seem like I have time to go potty.....The rest of this month is out for holding an event on it, but If it could be fixed I could probably find a few hours.

Sean, I saw the deck after the Kangamangus trip.

It is not going to fall down under a snow load...

Maybe if we all get on it, but thats another story..

I told him how to fix it by placing shimms under the posts...

Also the way it sits now the water will run off easier..
