Alignment in Seattle area

I hope this is not out of line.

Can anyone give me a recommendation on a *good* alignment shop for my '83 F-250. I was told that only the toe was adjustable and that the I-beams would need to be bent to adjust caster and camber. Does that sound right.

Thanks!

John (Mountlake Terrace)

Not too sure about specific shops over on that side, but Les Schwab and Goodyear are usually pretty good.
You truck still has kingpins, so yes it will need to have the beams bent to change camber. Before you have that done, though, make sure the springs aren't sagged, and that it has the correct rims on it. Because of the I beam design, having a different offset rim will change the amount of leverage the springs have, and will change the camber.

Thanks Jared, The height looks great. It's 2 wheel drive and sits nice and high. It has stock rims.

The Schwab in North City told me they could not do the bending.
