Memory seats

I'm wondering if anyone has had problems with the memory seats? Mine are not working. The power seats themselves are working, but when you try to save the seat position using the recommended procedure to memorize it doesn't do anything. Has anyone run across this? At first I thought it had something to do with key remotes, but I checked those and came up with the same result.

Does anyone know where I can get a complete part and repair manual for the Expy. I know they were available for my f150.

Any information regarding this would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

The seat won't go into the saved position unless it is in park or the car is off. If it still doesn't work take it back to the dealer.

It may not be the safest thing to do, but to use the saved memory positions you do NOT need to be in park with the engine off, on the 08 limited the seat, side mirrors, and foot pedals will also move even while driving if you shift into to neutral and then select either memory position 1 or 2. Again not recommended but can be done.

You can save the memory position to 1 or 2 at any time, i.e. in gear, moving, engine off/on, etc.
