anyone know???

Hey guys I found me a grille and bottom valence for the 64 stepside.

Anyone know where I can get the grille CHROMED? Surely having it chromed would be cheaper than the 500.00 for a new one. what do you think?

I got to go pull the parts w-day. it was toooooo hot today and I didn't have the right tools.

Later guys
Matt

The only chrome shop that I have found is in Baton Rouge Louisiana. The name is The Chrome Man. I dont know what the shipping would be. I have looked around North Louisiana and havent found anything.

There is a big chrome shop in Tennesse (advanced plating). They don't have any online prices though. No clue how exensive it would be.

http://www.advancedplating.com/

Even if you don't use them...its a cool site to go look around on and read how its done.

Bud Wards Antiique Cars can do small items. Their vat is not big enough for wheels or bumpers, but they will do any other small item. 501-455-1141

Please let me know when you find a place to do bumpers. I'm shaving the bolts off of my 69's.

That is a good question. Chrome work is not cheap no matter who does it. Also, do you know if they do minor straigntening before they chrome parts?

He had the work done about 6 yrs ago and I believe the grill cost 100.00 same with the bumpers . I would give them a call I think they would do minor straightening too.
