Truck Show Update...Rod...Dave...anybody?

Hi Guys,

Just FYI, I've gotten one of the local parts stores that's willing to donate door prize stuff....that's #1.

#2...I'll find out tomorrow if one of the local Ford dealerships is going to put up cash for trophies.

#3...Since the Ruritan are doing their country breakfast fund raiser in conjunction with our truck show, I've gotten them to agree to lower our cost since they are using the building! We can still use it but since they're cooking and feeding folks, we don't have to pay for the building!

Dave....I did get the poster approved by Ken. I'm making copies so I can distro locally.

Truck show time is getting close and I'd be a whole lot more comfortable with more registrants up front.

Well gotta go....this beer can is empty!

Joe

Joe, FYI, and you didn't here it from me, OK?

You can get Dave, since your CL is MIA, email a request to FTE Ken, for Ken to do a PM Broadcast to ALL WV residents announcing your truck show, introduce your chapter, etc. I would suggest something short and to the point. Maybe two sentences to a paragraph with a link to your chapter, and a link to you show threads.

Just a thought and remember to keep this between you and me.

Dave and Joe, I think Rich would rather see a member of the West Virginia chapter make the request.

Ken's email address is: kpayne@ford-trucks.com

Time's a wastin! Gitter Dun!

The local Advance are the guys who said they'd donate door prizes. I'm hoping to get local dealers to sponsor trophies. If there's enough left over....I think T-shirts would be cool.

What do you think?

Joe
